The DuraFlex Bin offers a number of newly-incorporated features that make it the most robust standard specification bin on the market. Moreover, the range has been designed to fully integrate with the world-famous DuraFlex range of trade waste and recycling lids, giving customers an unbeatable combination of durability and operational flexibility.

What makes DuraFlex bins so special?

The DuraFlex bin offers the highest standard product specification in the UK market. The bin features a 1.7mm* thick galvanised steel body, fully internally seam welded to prevent liquid ingress and rusting.

The base features 2.0mm** thick galvanised steel, 20% more than the standard specification of other bin brands, to prolong container life and avoid unwanted refurbishment costs.

The DuraFlex newly designed lifting comb is manufactured from 2.0mm** thick galvanised steel and features 7 gussets for additional strength. CCE’s unrivalled expertise in waste container applications is reflected in our standard product specification. Danish handles, CCE’s in-house designed hinge and bracket set, patented lock and EN840 castors (2 swivels, 2 brakes) are all included in the basic price
          

 Bolt-On Castors options
   

All four castors are 200mm  Steel centred wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release) are bolted on for easy replacement. Two-foot operated, trailing braking wheels at the front with two swivel wheels at the back. (Not Welded On or Plastic Centred Castors)

200 mm Standard castors Rubber tyres, Needle roller bearings, Trailing brakes, Pressed hubs, 3.5mm top plate, Zinc and clear passivate, 1230 Kgs static load rating, 690 Kgs dynamic load rating.

200 mm Heavy duty Elastic or polyurethane tyres, Ball race bearings, Leading brakes, Cast hubs, 5mm top plate, Zinc and gold passivate, 3000 Kg static load rating, 1500 kg dynamic load rating.

DuraFlex lids are up to 4 times lighter than metal lids, thereby considerably reducing the risk of accidents to waste operatives and members of the public.
The lightweight construction of DuraFlex lids, made from high-grade UV-stabilised polyethylene, gives the same stability as heavier metal lids.
A rotomoulded DuraFlex lid can be bent or crushed several times and still revert to its original shape.
