With option dBin, sound-deadening has been specifically designed to reduce the amount of noise created when recycling glass in a steel Continental bin/container. Glass recycling often poses a problem because of the loud noises created when putting glass material into the bins. This can create an issue, especially when the bins are situated in built-up urban areas where the noise can easily irritate nearby residents.

• The container can be powder-coated option using polyester powder, which is baked and cured in a controlled oven process, providing a layer of protection against corrosion, scratches/chipping and fading, being one of the most long-lastin,g superior paint finishes, and colour-durable quality available in 12 standard colours

• The Comb Bar is manufactured from a single piece of steel with welded end pieces and gussets.
• The top frame is a complete welded tube, not split or open-bend, with a diameter of 20mm. The use of the complete welded tube is very important here, as by using a complete tube, there are no holes or gaps in which waste can leak into the top frame itself when the container is lifted on emptying.
• The 2 Aperture Bottle Recycling Brush Lids are Rotary-moulded double-skin plastic with a minimum weight of 5.0 kilo manufactured in an aluminium mould for a superior finish with 12 Standard Colour Options.

Mk4 1100 dBin has been proven to be an impressive 22 decibels quieter when tested against a standard bin with no lining at all, which is a significant improvement.

The Taylor 1100 Mk4  works by fitting a felt-type lining into the bin, which acts as material insulation and provides a sound-deadening effect. The lining can be treated to be fully waterproof and robust, ensuring that it will last for a considerable amount of time.
