Galvanised Steel Body
Internally welded seams stop water penetration, preventing the corrosion that plagues less well-made metal waste containers. With full EN840 certification, they will give you exceptional lifetime value with limited downtime.
Steel-centred castor wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance (we don’t offer plastic-centred castors)
The top frame is a complete welded tube, not split or open-bend, with a diameter of 20mm. The use of the complete welded tube is very important here, as by using a complete tube, there are no holes or gaps in which waste can leak into the top frame itself when the container is lifted on emptying.
The Comb Bar is manufactured from a single piece of steel with welded end pieces and gussets.
660 Litre steel body, Hot-Dipped Galvanised Steel, along with internally welded seams, ensures robust protection in the harshest of environments and protects the container from internal corrosion due to residual waste being caught in exposed corners.
All four castors are 200mm steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are foot-press to lock, press to release)
All four castors are 200mm Steel Steel-centred wheels are manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance. Steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are pressed to lock, pressed to release) are bolted on for easy replacement. Two-foot operated, trailing braking wheels at the front with two swivel wheels at the back. (Not Welded On or Plastic Centred Castors)
Heavy Duty 200mm Casters: Mainly used with bins fitted with a heavy-duty base, suitable for dense waste materials (Food Waste) and for loading waste compactors and bins fitted with External and Internal fork pockets.

Advantages of Powder Coating: Taylor Continental Bin,
The clinical 660 container is a powder-coated yellow using polyester powder, which is baked and cured in a controlled oven process. Providing a layer of protection against corrosion, scratches/chipping and fading, being one of the most long-lasting, superior paint finishes, and colour-durable quality finishes. Which is then baked on through the High-Temperature Conveyor Drying System.
Duraflex Lids
Taylor-DuraFlex lids are up to 4 times lighter than metal lids, thereby considerably reducing the risk of accidents to waste operatives and members of the public.
The lightweight construction of DuraFlex lids, made from high-grade UV-stabilised polyethene, gives the same stability as heavier metal lids.
A rotomoulded DuraFlex lid can be bent or crushed several times and revert to its original shape.
