Taylor Mk4 1100L Trade Bin, Galvanised Steel Shell, Internally seams welded, The comb lifting bar is manufactured from 2.0mm** thick galvanised steel and features 7 gussets for additional strength DuraFlex Trade Lid Manufactured from high-grade UV-stabilised polyethylene. With Standard Flat Trade Lid, Taylor 200mm Steel Centred castors, 2x Back / Rear swivel Castors, 2 x Foot operated braked castors foot operated, Danish Side Handles for easy Manoeuvrability in confined bin storage areas

Quality manufacture means Taylor bins keep working, even under the toughest conditions. Like all metal waste and recycling bins we supply, the Mk4 1100 has a hard-wearing galvanised steel body and base.

Castor Options and Build Variants 

All four castors are 200mm steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release)

Castor brackets are manufactured from 3.5mm thick pressed steel to a minimum overall height of 30mm welded to the pressed container base. Castor brackets also include ‘Birds Beaks’ in their construction to resist material deformation.

All four castors are 200mm Steel centred wheels manufactured with needle bearings, grease and rubber optimised for performance steel-centred rubber-tyred swivel castors, two of which are fitted with trailing brakes (Brakes are press to lock, press to release) are bolted on for easy replacement. Two-foot operated, trailing braking wheels at the front with two swivel wheels at the back. (Not Welded On or Plastic Centred Castors)

Castors Options

Heavy Duty 20mm Casters: Mainly used with bins fitted with heavy-duty base, suitable for dense waste materials (Food Waste) and also for loading waste compactors and bins fitted with External and Internal fork pockets.

Non-marking casters are mainly used by Airports and Hotel lobbies, Schools, Hospitals, Offices, and Shopping Centres, which have none, marking floor Vinyl, Epoxy, and Laminate Floor covering.

Continental Towing containers are fully adapted and built with a heavy-duty reinforced base heavy-duty when fPower castors and removable tow link system allowing up to 4 wheeled containers to be moved at a time subject to bin size and materials, ground conditions, and material weights.

Heavy Duty Power Towing Castors  2 Swivel 2 Directional Lock is designed for towing up to 4 bins and also comes standard with heavy duty base, including bolt-on towing hitch and eye.

Bin Towing Containers provide a safe, practical answer to all towing requirements. Any container to be towed should be fitted with heavy-duty Power Towing castors or two swivel castors complete with directional locks, at one end of the container, no more than 4 containers are towed at any one time.

Please note we would not recommend using standard castor's standard bin base for towing bins
